This image was painted from a picture of one of the rose bushes in my yard.  I just focused in on the one rose in full bloom
for the piece! I was eager to add a flower or flowers of some kind  to my portfolio, so this was my result! I am partial to the yellow rose, so that's the one I chose, and I  am very happy with the finished painting!
