Many artists shy away from doing hands, I assume because they think they are difficult. But the hand
is like drawing any other figure....break it down to the basic shapes, in this case a triangle and a rectangle, and draw in
the contour lines, and crosscut lines.  At any rate I drew this portrait in order to fine tune my drawing of 
both the hand, and the face, and the hand on or touching the face.
