This was drawn from a photograph of Willie at the age of 82....I believe this may be my best work in graphite,
and I was inspired because of the characteristics of his face and hair.  One of my favorites!

The last I heard Mr. Nelson was still on tour, performing many concerts each year, singing and playing guitar. He
has become an American legend as a gypsy singer and songwriter, and I believe an inspiration to all musicians
who strive to continue performing in their later years!
