A friend of mine sent me a photo of this courtyard to draw and paint....I really liked the composition but knew it would take many hours to get the detail I wanted, which it did...probably 40+ hours.  But I was happy with the result, and
have had many compliments from people regarding this painting, and some that wanted to purchase it also.

I personally love  the myriad of colors, and the varied size and shape, and personality of all the windows and doors...also
the blue tiles reflecting the dark blue sky above. In addition, I was able to achieve the depth in the yard that I was after 
in the painting!
